Plinko is a free random picker that drops a ball down a real, physics-simulated peg board and takes your answer from whichever slot it lands in -- the same bouncing pegboard made famous by The Price Is Right. Type any short list (names, options, chores, prizes, restaurants), press Drop, and watch the ball rattle its way to one of them. Like Wheel of Names and Card Draw it works off a list you type in yourself, but instead of a spinning wheel or a shuffled deck the result comes from an actual bouncing simulation you get to watch play out.

Every result here is drawn using crypto.getRandomValues() -- the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure randomness -- instead of Math.random(), so it's genuinely unpredictable, not just statistically random. Learn more.

That means the middle of your list naturally lands more often than the edges, the same way a real board favors the middle. Each row's exact chance is shown right next to it, so you can arrange the list to set the odds -- put your most or least likely picks at the edges if you want them to be underdogs.

Common questions

Is the physics real, or just an animation over a fixed result?

Fully real -- there's no pre-chosen result and nothing steering the ball. It just falls, bounces off the pegs, and lands wherever gravity and those bounces take it.
