This generator draws from 150 real truth questions and dare challenges across six categories split between truths (Funny & Silly, Deep & Personal, Embarrassing & Awkward) and dares (Funny & Silly, Physical & Active, Bold & Embarrassing).

Every result here is drawn using crypto.getRandomValues() -- the Web Crypto API's cryptographically secure randomness -- instead of Math.random(), so it's genuinely unpredictable, not just statistically random. Learn more.

How it works

Generate draws one prompt at random from the full 150-entry pool using the site's cryptographically secure randomness, guaranteed not to repeat whatever result is currently showing in single-result mode. Filtering by category narrows the pool before drawing, and the six categories mix truths and dares so you can lean toward either.

Common questions

Does it separate truths from dares, or mix them together?

Both are in one pool by default, but the six categories are each labeled Truth or Dare, so filtering to only "Truth:" categories (or only "Dare:") gets you just one type.

Can I filter by intensity, like only lighter prompts?

Yes -- use the filter button to pick categories like Funny & Silly on either side, and skip the more intense Embarrassing or Bold categories.

Will it show me the same prompt twice in a row?

Not in single-result mode -- each new roll is guaranteed to differ from the one currently on screen.

Is this appropriate for all ages?

Not necessarily -- some categories (Embarrassing & Awkward, Bold & Embarrassing) are written for older players and closer friend groups, so choose categories with your group in mind.
