That third clause is what demoted Pluto, which shares its region with the rest of the Kuiper Belt, to dwarf planet. The eight that qualify split into four rocky terrestrial worlds and four giants -- two gas, two ice. The definition is formally limited to our own Solar System, which is why worlds around other stars are called exoplanets rather than being tested against it.
